The runes were chiseled on the stone quite recently, and the inscription is clearly a fake. Several linguistic forms are incorrect. The ending written -r for the subject form of the name is for instance a mistake for -R. Most revealing, however, is the word ‘drott’. This is a word from Norwegian folk songs and folk tales which was created based on a misunderstanding of an old-fashioned word. It does not occur in writing before the 1800s.
The stone is privately owned.
