“My work is about the feelings and real-life experiences of girls working in garment factories, who represent one of the most mistreated segments of this society. I went to garment factories as an observer. I saw colorful cloths, buttons, sewing machines, and most importantly the neatness. I couldn’t differentiate between the working girls and the machines. Actually, they have become parts of this machinery. They are working hard to meet their superior’s expectations, without having any advantages at all. The final outcome of their labor is colorful and fashionable, but the actual lives of the real producers of this harvest may not be that colorful.”
“There is no difference between machines and us.
We are working hard.
Life is not enjoyable,
Not worthwhile.
We have no choice,
We are doing our job.
But still, we are humans.”
