We Axe for What We Want .  Guizer Jarl 2001, Michael Groat, ombord på skipet sitt  Old Faithful . Shetland 2001 / "We axe for what we want!" The Guizer Jarl 2001, Michael Groat, on board his galley Old Faithful. Groat has taken the persona of the famous Viking Gunnar Hamundarson of Hildarend, Iceland, famed for jumping his own height in full armour, using three swords at one time, and swimming like a seal. The extra mast, with the red wooden hand on top, represents a saga of two Norse jarls racing in separate boats to claim an island as his own. The winner was to be the first to touch the land. However, one of the jarls won the race by cutting off his own hand with an axe and throwing it ashore.Shetland 2001.
