This Sunday you can make wonderfully fragrant Christmas decorations to hang in your window or on the tree. We take our inspiration from the spices that arrived in Norway with trading ships from distant shores in the Middle Ages.
At the Historical Museum you will find objects and stories from the Norwegian Middle Ages. In the exhibition Noregr – Medieval Stories you can explore the history of medieval food and see colourful medieval art.
Free admission for children
Children under 18 always have free admission to the Historical Museum; adults pay the regular museum ticket. The activities are suitable for children from 5 years and up. In the workshop Kilden, the museum’s educators will help you get started.
